Resources for Schools to Combat Bullying/More Funding for AP Classes

As a parent of two school-aged children, this issue is deeply personal to me. I also lost my 15-year-old niece to suicide after she experienced bullying at school. No family should have to go through that kind of pain. Schools need more resources to actively prevent bullying, support students’ mental health, and create safe environments where kids feel protected and valued. At the same time, increasing funding for AP classes ensures students have access to opportunities that help them grow, stay engaged, and see a future for themselves.
